McAlpine Wins Two Prestigious Awards in Scotland
Our parent company McAlpine & Co Ltd. was awarded two top honors at The Herald’s Scottish Family Business Awards 2017. These were presented to the company in early December at an awards ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland.
The first honor was presented for Scottish Family Business of the Year (Large). McAlpine was founded in 1902 and has continued to be an industry leader and innovator ever since. There are currently three manufacturing facilities and five additional premises in the Glasgow area; and of course, us here at Mountain Plumbing Products as their distributor in the USA.
The second honor was the Outstanding Contribution Award which is public recognition of the significant, long-term contribution made by an individual who has played a key part in building and sustaining a company’s growth. This was awarded to Graham McAlpine.
